Janet McDougall laboured in Chad for over 30 years as a nurse. She was the first fruit of the first year Bethel Bible Camp was held at its present location in 1945 as an outreach of the assembly meeting at Westlock Gospel Chapel. Janet was commended by several assemblies including her home assembly in Westlock. After coming back to Canada, she lived in Edmonton for a short time before relocating back to Westlock. She died September 6, 2019 at the age of 92. She had one leg amputated and suffered from the ailments of age for quite a few years yet never a complaint was heard from Aunt Janet but always a reminder to be thankful for what you have been given.
