Nancy Willametta DeField Disinger was born in 1867 Bridgman, Berrien, MI - d. 1930 Blytheville, Mississippi, AR, a daughter of David Edward DeField (b. 1849 Berrien Springs, Berrien, MI - d. 1918 Charleston, Miss., MI) & Martha Ann DeField (b. 1851 IN - d. 1903 Charleston, Miss., MO). Nancy's father, David, was employed in 1880 in Bridgman as a saloon keeper.

Husband: George C. Disinger (b. 1865 MI - d. 1922 Hollandale, Washington, MS), saw mill operator. The Disinger family lived in 1900 in Monroe, Mississippi, Arkansas, and in 1910 in Shelby, Tennessee. George & Nancy were married in 1886 at Muskegon, Michigan.

Nancy received an award in MoL in 1904-1905, as did her daughter Alta. George & Nancy had two children:

• Edward William Disinger (b. 1886). In 1918, Edward was employed as a logging engineer for J.H. Bonner & Sons, Bonner's Mill, Heth, St. Francis, Arkansas.
• Alta A. Disinger Harrington (b. 1889 IL - d. 1988 Macon, IL). In 1910, Alta was 21, divorced, living with her parents, and employed as a laundry ironer. In 1913, she remarried John H. Deboe in a Methodist church in Yazoo City, MS. In 1919, Alta was employed as a saleslady in Memphis, TN for Goldsmith's, a regionally popular department store founded about 1867, and acquired in the late 1980's by Macy's, its downtown store was operational until 1990. Alta's last husband was Raymond W. Harrington (b. 1903 St. Joseph, MO - d. 1962 Decatur, IL, raised in Salina, KS, a member of Central Christian Church of Decatur
