History
In 1861, there were a number of families that claimed "Christian Brethren" on the census. It is unknown whether this was open or exclusive, but presumed open (as exclusives typically used the PB name). It is unknown how long this assembly would have existed, but by 1948, there was another assembly started called Stanstead Gospel Chapel, now known as Stanstead Christian Assembly which is presently active.
