Emma was born Feb. 26, 1903 and died April 21, 1989 in Guttenberg, IA. Her parents were George Martin Jacobs (1873-1935) and Elizabeth Sophia Kickbusch (1878-1962) Jacobs, who were both born in Prussia, emigrating to Millville, IA. She never married.
In 1930, she was boarding with Edward Osthoff, correspondent from at least 1927-1943+ for the Clayton Gospel Hall, IA one of the ministry fruits from the evangelist Oliver Smith. She could feasibly have been in fellowship there for a time while employed as a public schoolteacher in Clayton.
In 1940, she was boarding with Mary Crefeld, an older fellow unmarried schoolteacher, also in Clayton.
