History
Prior to 1927, H.F. Schultz started Bethany Gospel Hall on Main Street in Westbrook, c/o D.L. Swendsen 1958-1959; Charles R. Grob 1960-1965; Daniel F. Chick 1966-2006; Dan Chick 2007-2020+; Barry Stultz +2007-2020+;Cumberland, Maine, a suburb of Portland, and remained its correspondent until its closing after 1983. Around 1958, D.L. Swendsen started what became Spring Hill Gospel Hall in the auditorium of Warren Memorial Library, which acquired its present building in 1961 at 225 Spring Street.
