There has been a TW-N assembly meeting in Denton, Texas since the early 1960's. In +1878-1880+, Jane Kerr Langford lived in the area, having been in fellowship with exclusives at the Clarence Meeting Room in the township by that name, in Russell Co., Ontario with her two eldest daughters Anna & Serena as early as 1871, the rest of the family (her husband and eight other children) was Baptist.

In the early 1960's, the Tonn, Renfro and Johnson families commenced the meeting room. It is probable that prior to this, some of them met at the meeting room in Dallas, and others in the DFW area.

In 1989, several left this assembly to start an Renton EB (see A Word In Its Season assembly known as Windsor Hall, including Paul Larkin Johnson, Jr. (1921-2007), who was a co-founder of the DMR, and his son Thomas Paul Johnson (b. 1950), and son-in-law Tim VanderHoek (b. 1947), and is still active. In 1992, there was another split off of DMR known asDenton Christian Fellowship (TW-P) which dissolved after a few years.
