Sturgis Bible Chapel was an open brethren assembly founded in 1919 by A.L. Ritts, formerly pastor of the First Baptist Church before he withdrew and took a majority of the congregation with him, and the assembly was started with about forty. It was known as Sturgis Gospel Hall thru 1943. In 1927 it was located at 507 E. West St. It folded sometime after 2013. Mert & Jane Wolcutt were commended from this assembly to Congo, then CMML, then to Rest Haven.
