J.W. Bramhall, Jr., Sumpter, South Carolina:

"“At present I am in the South, my particular burden being Sumter, S.C. The Spirit of God has led a group of Christians in the denominations to meet once a week for Bible reading and prayer as Christians. There is quite a group of them, and for five weeks I have had much joy in preaching the Word — some saved, and the Christians built up.

There are unlimited opportunities for the spreading of the Word, and I am praying God will enable me to stay with these people for some time. There are opportunities of a two-fold character in these needy and neglected parts of our country. First, the preaching of the Gospel — and second, reaching God’s children in the denominations who are hungry for His word.”
