James John Alexander Munro

James John Alexander Munro was born December 22, 1882 and raised in Forest, Lambdon County, Ontario, Canada as son of  [George Munro] (1842-1892) and [Margaret Johnson Munroz] (1857-1944). George was born in Caithness, Scotland and married in 1877 in Lambdon to Margaret Leitch Johnson who was born in Hamilton. Margaret was born in Forest, but her parents Hugh Johnson (1819-1911) and Flora Patterson Hamilton (1821-1907) were from Scotland.

James' siblings were [Flora P.N. Munro_Hawthorne] (1879-), Dr. Hugh Johnson Munro (1884-1962), [Augusta Victoria Munro Vance] (1887-1988), and [Donnellda Caroline Munro](1888-1966).

James was raised Brethren, and his brother Hugh served as an elder in a Winnipeg assembly (St. Vital Gospel Hall, Winnipeg, MB).   In 1891, the family had moved to Bothwell, Ontario.  

He married Myrtle Evangeline Ruttan  in Edmonton, Alberta.  She was  born on August 18, 1893 in Beecher, Ontario.

James died January 29, 1942 in Strome, Alberta, and Myrtle died June 1, 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
