Deseronto Meeting Room
Prior to 1878, there was an exclusive brethren (EB) meeting room at Mill Point, with a contact as early as 1880 of Isaac Powlass (or Powlis), then the meeting relocated in 1881 to Deseronto and continued thru at least 1896, with the same contact.
Open Brethren assemblies
In 1884, A.S. Rolph and his brother Raymond, from Belleville Gospel Hall started an initiative that resulted in over a dozen Mohawk Indians making profession, and a small Deseronto Assembly was started, of unknown length. Then, in 1898, the Wager family made a profession of faith when itinerants came thru, and they started an assembly in their home on Slash Road, which presently meets as Deseronto Gospel Hall.
