C.B. Cramer LOI 1934-7

C.B. Cramer, Louisville, Kentucky:

"If we could only show some of God's servants the fields of ripened grain in Kentucky we feel they would gladly “come over to Macedonia to help us!”

The unfortunate feature of gospel work is that preachers only stay long enough to get people interested, and then off they go to fresh fields. Why is this? It is because preachers are literally compelled to move from needy places because Saints who have the wherewithal do not cooperate with God to meet the need.

My wife and I have an open home here, and we are always anxious to have God’s servants here. We are not able to do what we would like beyond having an open house. Brother Sydney Burge from Alberta in Canada paid us a helpful visit recently.

Oh, brother Trotter, if you only knew how our hearts ache for the conversion of unsaved loved ones and for the edification of saints who are held in bondage by a mixture of much law and little grace, by those who speak much about water and little about THE BLOOD OF CHRIST!"
