Military/Career
During WWI, he was serving as a seaman for the U.S. Shipping Board on the Dredge "Kennebec", whose office was in Portland, ME.
Marriage
On Nov. 19, 1919, in Kingfield, Emmons married Gelia Elizabeth Weymouth, who was born Sept. 28, 1899 in Freeman, Franklin, ME. She died in 1991 near Strong, Franklin, ME.
