Friendship Gospel Chapel, PA
Friendship Gospel Chapel was an open brethren assembly in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania active as early as 1922, and folded about 1991. It was initially known as Friendship Street / Avenue Gospel Hall. In 1922, it was meeting in the home of James Wilson, which was later converted into their permanent location.
1926 USCoRB indicated that there were 150 in fellowship (60 men, 90 women) including 10 S.S. teachers, presiding over 100 children (for a total of 250). The Hall was valued at $12,000 with no debt (and with $1,609.88 in annual expenses), and $1,465 was additionally spent towards the Lord's work in 1926.
