Ichthus Christian Fellowship

Ichthus Christian Fellowship was founded in 1974 as an inter-denominational church plant which is presently multi-site, based in London, England, but there are collegiate chapters at universities around the world. The founder was Roger T. Forster, who was functioning as an itinerate Bible teacher and evangelist with roots among the Brethren. He and his wife Faith opened their home on the edge of London to those in need of practical, emotional or spiritual help, with a burden for the unchurched of London, and quickly grew to a gathering of eighteen people who were the nucleus.

By 1982, the initial congregation had grown to around 400 people, and two new sites were planted. By 1990, Ichthus had 43 congregations. About 130 other churches and movements around the world are linked in some manner with Ichthus.
