Allan McFarlane 1909-1910 - (b. Aug. 31, 1909 NN - d. Sept. 4, 1942 Hampton, VA) served as Tech Sgt. Army Air Corps +1940-1942 in the Panama Canal. His parents were co-founders of Bethany Gospel Chapel, Newport News, VA.
Major William James Herbert Chambers, Jr. (b. 1916 Rutherford, NJ - d. 1952 Newfoundland) died on active duty. See Military. He enlisted with the National Guard in 1935, honorably discharged in 1939, enlisted with the USAF in 1941, and was stationed at McAndrews AF Base in Newfoundland at the time of his death. Wife: Lola Joe McComb Chambers (b. 1921 Kent or Taylor Co., TX - d. 2010 Fort Worth, TX), daughter of Carl Winfield McComb (b. 1898 Riverdale, Kent, TX - d. 1991 Abilene, TX) & Elsie Ada Morton McComb (b. 1899 Eastland, TX - d. 1975 Abilene, TX). Major Chambers was a son of Chaplain William James Herbert Chambers +1922+ (b. 1890 Dublin, IE - d. 1969 San Francisco, CA) who was a correspondent in 1922 at the Waterville Gospel Hall, now Terryville Gospel Hall in Connecticut.
