Philippine Evangelist
The Philippine Evangelist was advertised as a "non-denominational" periodical, and was founded in 1932, and issues ran monthly thru at least 1938. Its publishing address was P.O. Box 1414, Manila, P.I., and its primary editor was Dr. Paul G. Culley (M.D.), its managing editor was G.A. Wightman, and its assistant editor was Cyril Harry Brooks all pioneer open brethren (OB) evangelists in the Philippines. It sponsored devotional and doctrinal articles by various leading evangelical authors of its day, spanning from American, European and Filipino, including W.H. Griffith Thomas, a cofounder of Dallas Theological Seminary. It also followed current world evangelical news, as well as local assembly news. Volumes 4-7 have been digitized and uploaded online by station26.cebu on April 3, 2023 for Archive.org.
