Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m., Sunday, September 4, at White Rock Cemetery in Ross, Texas with Larry King and Jerry King officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sunday, September 4, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
** Henry was born April 28, 1923 in Riesel, Texas to Jeff Garrett and Bessie Emma (Goodwin) McKinney. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII and retired from Certain Teed after many years of service. He married Ruth Janette Varner on April 2, 1943 and was a charter member of Waco Bible Chapel.
** Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years; his sister and brothers, Inez McCoy, Edward, Raymond, Milford, and Charles McKinney; and an infant son, James Glen McKinney.
** Survivors include his sons, Wayne McKinney and wife, Linda, Terry McKinney, Steve McKinney and wife, Jackie, Tim McKinney and wife, Marilyn, and Steven McKinney and wife, Tina; his sister, Marie Suggs; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

* Mrs. '''Evelyn Varner''' was called home to be with her Lord on June 30, 1998, after a long illness. She was survived by her loving husband, Albert, three daughters, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Evelyn was pointed to Christ by Leonard Lindsted in 1948. He was an active member of the Waco Bible Chapel, North Richland Hills Bible Chapel, Garland Bible Chapel. and Austin Bible Chapel. George was preceded in death by his son Greg, his parents, his sister Ruth, his brother Earl, brother Albert, and brother Alec. He was survived by his wife of 67 years Evelyn, his daughters and sons-in-law
Nancy and Gary Eubanks and Kathy and Louis DeLaunay, eight grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. "Pappaw" was a true "bel espirit" who made everyone around him feel special with his gentle laughter and easy smile.
