This list includes all periodicals issued by all divisions of the movement, so far as identifications have been established. Most of them are not issued officially in the sense that any group authorized their publication, but most of them have been printed and circulated by publishers or individuals and are accepted by readers within the circles of their influence. To qualify as a periodical the publication must be issued at intervals of six months or less, usually regularly, and usually numbered and dated. The entry is made with exact title (less initial articles), city or cities, and dates, followed by any genealogical notes as to mergers, continuations, etc.
Some titles are listed without any information, but are included because of information received from some source that they belonged to such a list. Each significant change of title is given its own integrity. The In Arnold Ehlert's era, the master file at the Biola Library contains contained additional information in many cases, such as editorship, sources of information, and in many instances locations of holdings not reported in the Union List of Serials or the British Union-Catalogue of Periodicals. Detailed addresses are were on file of most of those still being published, and the Biola Library is was receiving most of theseat one time.
