* Daniel C. Wedel (1885-1950) - built the Hall building in the late 1930's. His parents were Cornelius Benjamin Wedel (1833-1909) & Agnetha (or Aganeta) "Nettie" Richert Wedel (1849-1933). Cornelius emigrated in 1874 from Belarus. Nettie emigrated in 1875 from Russia. Both emigrated initially to Philadelphia, and were married and living in Lone Tree, Mcpherson, Kansas by 1880.
Daniel married Mollie (1886-1969), and they had two daughters, [[Ethel Irene Wedel Friesen]] (1912-2001) and [[Edna Mae Wedel Dyck]] (b. 1921); Edna married Menno Dyck, and they raised their four children at Elm Springs, and the younger two spent the latter part of their childhoods at [[Grace and Truth Gospel Chapel, KS|Grace and Truth Gospel Chapel]] where Menno served as an elder.
