Bethel Community Church was formed in January of 2020 as a merger of two assemblies, [[Faith Community Bible Church, Montreal, QC|Faith Community Bible Church]] in Montreal, and [[Bethel Chapel, Pointe Claire, QC|Bethel Chapel]] in Pointe Claire. The two assemblies had a shared youth pastor sometime prior to late 2018 when elders from both assemblies engaged in discussions about the possibility of merging as one assembly.
