** T&T 1975 March: "Our dear sister, Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Holt Cobb, went home to be with the Lord aged 96 years. She was saved as a girl in her teens, through the preaching of our brother Alexander Lamb in Virginia in those early days. She maintained a Godly testimony until the end which came January 16th. A goodly number at the Funeral Home heard the word spoken by a local brother Samuel Ellison." * Bessie Holt McLeod (d. 1976 Longport, NJ)** T&T 1976 Nov: "Mrs. Bessie Holt McLeod of Gospel Hall Home, Longport, N.J., on June 21st. Our dear sister was in fellowship in Matoaca Assembly for many years. She was saved at an early age and lived a useful, godly and consistent life. She will be missed by the saints. There was a good attendance at the service in the funeral parlour, when a local brother preached the Word. Pray for those who mourn her passing; a sister and many relatives."
