Forbush Gospel Hall was one of the first open brethren assemblies in [[Iowa]], planted by miners from [[What Cheer Gospel Hall, IA]] that had been planted a few years prior. The correspondent in 1904 was Jno. Moffatt. At some juncture, this assembly joined [[What Cheer Gospel Hall, IA]] which joined Centerville Gospel Hall, which became [[Centerville Gospel Chapel, IA|Centerville Gospel Chapel]] in 1950, and continued until 2009.
