==<span id="Conversion_and_Early_Ministry" class="mw-headline">Conversion and Early Ministry</span>==<span class="mw-headline">Janet McDougall attended the first year of Bethel Bible Camp in 1945 as an 18 year old. Through the preaching of the gospel, the Lord convicted her and she put her faith in Christ Jesus. She completed her training at the Royal Alex Hospital and graduated as a Registered Nurse from there. Janet was called to attend Bible College. She attended [[Emmaus Bible College]] while it was located in Toronto, Ontario. Afterwards, she travelled to Paris, France to begin French Language Studies. She was then went on commended by several assemblies as she followed the call to serve the Lord in people of Chad as a maternity nursedelivering babies and sharing the Gospel. She would serve there for 30 years in 5 year terms. Four years in Chad, one year home. At the age of 60, her knees were beginning to cause her trouble. She came back to Canada to have an operation. She then went back to Chad for another ten years in a short-term rotation. After returning to Canada, she continued to serve the people in Chad through correspondence, work bees, calendars and many other practical helps while in Canada. </span>
