[[Joseph Hubert Claar]], better known as Joe Claar, was born on Aug. 21, 1927 in Bedford, [[Pennsylvania]], and died on Mar. 30, '''2020''' at Carmel Hills Retirement Community where he resided the last few years of his life. He was in fellowship with [[Charlotte Gospel Hall, NC|Charlotte Gospel Hall]] from at least 1972 thru the remainder of his days, and the founder of "Inspiration Card and Gift Bookstore", managed many years by Bob McClenaghan, that met in a shopping mall in Charlotte, in conjunction with [[Books For Christians]], a publishing company started in 1972 that was best known for its commentary series, [[The Serious Christian]].
