Trinity Bible Church was/is an open brethren assembly in Owensboro, Daviess, [[Kentucky]] founded in on Sept. 11, 1983 by a former Baptist minister named Isaac "Dix" Winston III who graduated Murray State University, served three years 1975-1978 with Campus Crusade, then graduated from [[Dallas Theological Seminary]] in 1982, and served with Grace Church in Tuscaloosa, [[Alabama]] before returning to his hometown of Owensboro.
The initial assembly plant had 25 core members meeting initially in Evansville, [[Indiana]], then moving to Owensboro Junior High School. A majority of the early members were of Baptist or Methodist background, but desiring non-denominational status. [[Emmaus Bible College]] was an early influence, supplying correspondence courses for study, and there was vision of night classes, a bookstore, and an audio library.
