* TIG 1997-5-31: "Elizabeth "Betty" L. Stewart, 66, of Indiana, died Fri., May 30, 1997 at the Indian Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. McClure had lived most of her life in the Indiana County area where she attended the Indiana Gospel Hall and was a homemaker. She graduated from Indiana High School in 1948. Surviving are her husband, William E. McClure, Ind., four sons: Gerald and wife, Heidi, Ind.; Edward and Jeff, both of Ind.; William and wife Wendy, Mercer; one daughter, Debbie E., Ind.; four grandchildren; two brothers: Robert L. Stewart and Richard H. Stewart, both of Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. Paul (Geraldine) Esch, Lebanon, Ind. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, William, who died in infancy; and three half-brothers: David, John and Kenneth Byers. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. William A. Seale will officiate and interment will take place in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana."

Johnston, with first elders as William Anthony & Robert M. Walker. initially pastored by A. Donaldson (supplemented by Geary), followed by Franklin Orr, M.M. Shirley, George K. Scott, Jacob L. Thompson, Lycurgus Mechlin and '''John Walker''' (1936), its present is Leonard Kinney. In more recent years, it has been Reformed Presbyterian denominationally, and has 8405 Route 422 Hwy. W, Ind., PA as its address.
