William's wife Minnie died unexpectedly in Coleraine in 1950, an obit was given in The Believer's Magazine that indicated she was saved in 1916, and given to hospitality. It was the source of the report that William and all seven children were saved. William died on June 3, 1973 in Coleraine at the age of 81.
Truth & Tidings (1973 Sept) indicated that Mr. T. Tom McKelvey spoke at the home, and Mr. Albert McShane spoke at the graveside. Brethren Halliday, John Hawthorne, Fairfield and Beattie also took part.
