William Aylmer Sherrard, referred to as Aylmer, was the son of [[Robert Andrew Sherrard]] and [[Elizabeth Anne Houghton Sherrard]].

Truth & Tidings (1976 April), Aylmer reported, "Coleraine: We had very large meetings with brethren Ramsay and Hull (Canada). Four professed and the meetings lasted for seven weeks. Those who professed are going on."

Truth & Tidings (1976 Oct) includes the following on his life:
"Our dear brother, Aylmer Sherrard, was called home on Aug. 24th, at the early age of 48. He was saved in 1942 during meetings conducted in his own home by the late Mr. J. Stewart and Mr. T. Wallace. Shortly afterwards he was received into the Limavady assembly, but when the family moved to Coleraine in 1944 he gathered with the saints there and was in happy fellowship until his homecall.
