Steve & Mary were commended towards a move to Cochabamba, Bolivia in July 1989. They lived with a Bolivian family for three months while studying Spanish, then acquired their own apartment, and Steve began medical work in a clinic. Half the time in the early years he spent teaching health care and preventative medicine to Bolivians thru the church, while also studying Quichua. Jim developed a "Wilderness Encounter Program" in Westcliffe, CO. 1992 @ Honey Rock Camp, Three Lakes, WI. Jim currently serves as the executive director of [https://www.yaacamp.org/ Yellowstone Alliance Adventures], a Christian camp and retreat center in Bozeman, [[Montana]] that he and his wife have served with for more than 29 years.
