In 1871, William was a Presbyterian pastor in Nelson, Halton, ON. In 1880, he pastored in Madison, Jefferson, [[Indiana]]. Simpson (b. 1843 Bayview, PEI - d. 1919 Nyack, Rockland, [[New York|NY]]). He was saved during the 1859 revival under the ministry of Henry Grattan Guinness, who in the 1870's published the ''Missionary Echo'', the first open brethren missions newsletter. He spent some time in Chatham, Ontario, and studied Presbyterian theology at Knox College at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1865, as per his [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Benjamin_Simpson wiki], and was subsequently ordained by the Canadian Presbys. At the age of 21, he was pastoring the large Knox Presby. in Hamilton, Ontario. He subsequently pastored other Presby. churches including at Chestnut St. in Louisville, [[Kentucky]] starting in 1873, and Thirteenth St. in NYC by 1880. In 1881, he experienced a shift in theological positions to more of an evangelical one with continuationist leanings, and subsequently founded what became Nyack College and the Christian Missionary & Alliance denomination (now [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliance_World_Fellowship Alliance World Fellowship], and in 1882, allegedly published the first missionary journal with pictures. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1898. 1st wife (1904 @ Pittsburgh, PA): Nancy Jane Wilson Simpson (1885-1905 Pittsburgh, PA), daughter of William Wilson (b. 1845 Canada) & Lillian "Lillie" Ann Reynolds Wilson (b. 1867 PA - d. 1952 Santa Clara, CA). William was employed in Wilmerding in 1900 as a watchman, and resided in Turtle Creek later 1910-1920, employed as a conductor in the steam railroad industry. Nancy resided in Wilmerding (1900)& Wilkinsburg (1904) in the Pittsburgh metro, and she and Allen were married for a year and three months before she died, possibly in childbirth. Wife 2nd wife (1906@ Windsor, ON): Margaret Eva Hodgkin Simpson (b. 1880 Merlin, Chatham-Kent, ON - d. 1947 Highland Park, MI), daughter of James Hodgkin & Margaret Mills Hodgkin. In 1904-1906, Allan Allen was employed as a printer, registered with the "Christian Church", and residing in PittsburghMcKeesport, [[Pennsylvania]]. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1898 His 2nd wife Margaret was raised CoE. By 1910, he they resided in Detroit, [[Michigan|MI]], Allen was still working as a printer.******** Mildred Simpson (b. 1905 PA). By 1910, Mildred resided with her maternal grandparents in Turtle Creek, a borough of Pittsburgh, where she remained thru her mid-1930's. In 1940, she was employed as a stenographer, and residing with her grandmother in a unique bungalow (Spanish Colonial Revival) style apartment building (built in 1925) at [https://www.zillow.com/b/1136-logan-st-los-angeles-ca-9MLX5K/ 1136 Logan St.], in what is currently the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, [[California]].
