==Mahaffy family==
In 1927, James Mahaffy was the correspondent, and the earliest known. 1927 @ 157 Glebemount. In 1921, census registered him, his wife, and three children as "Christian". By 1931, James was registered as Presbyterian, and his wife Sarah and their daughter Lillian as Anglican. James was employed in 1921 in shipping for a factory, and in 1931 as a bookkeeper for a furniture store. In 1901, as family was registered as "Brethren in Christ", and their daughter Charlotte (and husband Oscar) were both "Brethren" in 1922 at the time of her wedding, and their son Norman also in 1924, it will be presumed here that James & Sarah and their family were among the founders of this assembly, and all active as early as 1922 thru at least 1927.
