Calderhead family
David & Agnes Calderhead emigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in June of 1931 abord the steamship Cameronia via New York City, as per their son Jim's obit. 1940 @ Hendersonville, NC. Commended by the assembly in Asheville. Relocated to Mansfield in 1940. L&L 1944-3: Address Changes: "D. Calderhead is now living at 325 Reed St., Mansfield, Ohio." David & Agnes may have been among the founders of the current Mansfield Gospel Hall that was founded in 1959 by Norman Crawford. It has been speculated unlikely that David and his family relocated to Lincoln Heights with the rebranding, so is unknown where they were in fellowship 1948-1959 in the interim before the current MGH was founded.
* David Octavius Calderhead 1940-1947+ (b. 1897 Camnethan, Lanarkshire, Strathclyde, Scotland - d. 1980 Mansfield, OH), son of James Calderhead (b. 1860 Galston, Ayrshire, Strathclyde, Scot. - d. 1930 Larkhall, Strathclyde, Scot.) & Elizabeth Keer Borland Sharp-Calderhead (b. 1858 West Kilpatrick, Dumbartonshire, Strathclyde, Scot. - d. 1930 Larkhall, Scot.).
