Samuel had a variety of occupations. In 1900, he resided with his parents in Highland, Adams, PA and was employed as a teacher. In 1910, he resided with his wife and eldest daughter at 534 Oakland Ave., Southwest Greensburg, and was employed as a clerk in a freight office. In 1920, residing at the same location, he was managing a valve works. By 1930, he resided at 503 Welty St., which is the address listed in the undated assembly address book, and he was employed as a bank teller throughout that time 1930-1950. Interesting to the editor to note that in 1935, Samuel's brother J.
