Theodore served the Bible Truth Depot assembly, also known as aka St. Louis Meeting Room (currently the [[St. Louis Fenton Meeting Room, MO|St. Louis Meeting Room]] ) from 1927 thru 1944. By 1951, Theodore was serving with the [[Denver Meeting Room, CO|Denver Meeting Room]] in Colorado. Clara Theodore's paternal grandfather was born and raised in StJohann Jacob Fischer (b. Louis1811 Baden-Wurttemberg, the daughter of Christian (1837Germany -1918d. 1879 Collinsville, IL) & Caroline Stein (1846, credited in his [https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/106369505/johann-jacob-1924) Furstenfeld. Her father served in fischer obit] as "one of the earliest settlers of Collinsville and one of the founders of the 77th Regiment German Lutheran Church in the IL Infantry West", [https://holycross-collinsville.org/about/history/ Holy Cross Lutheran] which started in the Civil War1848 with his family and four others. By 1850, Johann was self-employed as a blacksmith.
** Mildred H. Fischer Waite Nelson (1906-1998) married George Waite @ Boyle Memorial Presbyterian in 1927.
** "Ted" Theodore Emmett Fischer (1910-1998) married Dr. Ruth M. Fischer (1908-2001). Ruth attended Bradley Polytechnic Institute in Peoria in the 1920's, and was correspondent in 1973 for the [[Troy Meeting Room, IL]], as was relative John Fischer.
