As a young man K. Daniel Williams got inspiration from the call of Jesus Christ, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” and went ahead to serve the Lord with all his might. He had a secular job, but he proved that a person could do the ministry for the Lord much more than a full time evangelist, along with a secular job. The zeal to proclaim the kingdom of God, made him to travel through out the length and breadth of Kerala, especially in the Northern part of Kerala and also to almost all the States in India.<br />"%20/" />His major contribution to the Brethren Movement in Kerala was the inspiration he gave to the young men to serve the Lord either through the local church or through Young Men’s Evangelical Fellowship (YMEF), an organization with a vision of evangelization. He widened their perspective to understand the need of evangelization of the villages of Northern India. He taught the doctrine from the word of God without any ambiguity and exhorted the Brethren to stand faithfully in the separation (Verpad). He never compromised in these things. <br /> <br />==Family Background==

Bro. Williams was born in 18-3-1927 in Nellikkunnu in Trichur to Bro. K.K.Daniel and Sis. Martha. Both of his parents were believers. Later on they settled in Kodakara when Williams was only two years old. He was obedient and God fearing. His parents taught him from the Bible and even told him about the need of salvation. But he never understood of its importance in his childhood. As he grew as a teenager, many sins began to influence him. While he started his college studies he even turned to be an atheist.
