James John Alexander Munro was born December 22, 1882 and raised in Forest, Lambdon County, Ontario, Canada as son of [index.php?title=George_Munro&action=view George Munro] (1842-1892) and [index.php?title=Margaret_Johnson_Munro&action=view Margaret Johnson MunroMunroz] (1857-1944). George was born in Caithness, Scotland and married in 1877 in Lambdon to Margaret Leitch Johnson who was born in Hamilton. Margaret was born in Forest, but her parents Hugh Johnson (1819-1911) and Flora Patterson Hamilton (1821-1907) were from Scotland.
