New Testimony in Tennessee
"Eight believers now meet to remember the Lord in Chattanooga. A Canadian couple is desirous of obtaining employment in this southern city in order to help further the testimony. Another young couple, students at Bryan University, now make the 37-mile trip from Dayton to Chattanooga each Lord's Day for the same purpose. These are the first responses to the 'Challenge of Chattanooga' as presented in October's Letters of Interest.
A one-day Bible conference is scheduled by these Chattanooga Christians for Thanksgiving Day, November 27, with Harold Green, of Nashville, and Albert Strauchman, of Oak Ridge, ministering the Word. Pray that this may result in an outreach to both saved and unsaved.
Weekly meetings of the new assembly are held in Your Prayer Room, 3rd floor Fisher Building, 11:00 a.m. on Lord's Day; 8:00 p.m., Thursday nights. Pray that the Lord will prosper these believers.
