History
There was a French open brethren assembly, Eglise chrétienne Anaja, at Saint-Roch-sur-Richeliu, Québec from 1978-1982.
Église chrétienne Anaja likely began around 1978 as a result of efforts on the part of commended worker Roland Lacombe who had been instrumental in beginning assemblies in La Tuque, Drummondville and Sorel. Nothing more is known about this assembly which appears to have closed sometime in 1982. The name Anaja is apparently of African-American origin and means Kindness or Grace.
