History

Assemblée Chrétienne de Black Lake in Québec was a French open brethren assembly active from 1987 thru 1993.

According to a letter dated 8 May 1989, the Assemblée Chrétienne de Black Lake had been formed for the purpose of gathering together according to New Testament principles. It is signed by two brethren from the nearby assembly at Thetford Mines as well as two full-time commended workers, Jean-Paul Berney and Lawrence Fortin. In 1991, it was reported that souls were being saved and added to the local congregation. This gathering appeared in the News of Quebec list of recognized assemblies, 1990-1993. No lists being published for the following two years, it is uncertain exactly when the assembly ceased to function. It does not appear in the list for 1996.
