Thomas Blake Letts (1910-1995) was the third and youngest child born to George Harry Henry and Alice (nee Smiley) Letts. He was born in Sunnybank, AB where he, along with his family, fellowshipped at the Sunnybank Meeting Room. After finishing school, Blake, as he was called due to having an Uncle Thomas, went on to become a school teacher, then a doctor and served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Lieutenant and Squadron Leader. He lived in Fairview for a time after finishing medical school. Sometime later, he moved to Edmonton. Along the way, he married Sara Kennedy on July 21, 1942. They had four children. Blake was influential in the beginnings of the Grace and Truth Gospel Hall, Edmonton, AB and onward until his death in 1995.
