On June 28, 1910, in Dubuque, Frances Broessel married Edward Osthoff. Frances was born in Jefferson, Dubuque, IA in Oct 1887 to John & Elizabeth Foell Broessell. She was one of the first five to accept Christ at Oliver Garfield Smith's gospel meetings at Clayton in 1918 which became Clayton Gospel Hall, IA.
- Vivian Helen Osthoff was born March 3, 1921 to Edward and Frances, and was reborn in 1970 in Garnavillo. She never married, and died Oct. 6, 1988 in Garnavillo, IA in fellowship with Garnavillo Gospel Hall, IA.
