History

In 1981, Michel and Susan Pigeon were led to commence gospel work in the Calumet Island (Île du Grand Calumet) area of Quebec. The work saw some fruit and an assembly was established. The labours continued for several years until there was only Michel and Susan left in Calumet and the two other families were from Pembroke, ON. The decision was made to move the meeting to Pembroke, ON at that time in 1996/97 and thus began the Pembroke Meeting.
