In 1989, there was an independent split from Denton Meeting Room, a TW exclusive meeting, led by Paul L. Johnson, Tim Van Der Hoek, Bruce Selman, Scotie Selman, Doug M. Welch and others, that comprises a moderately sized meeting that is loosely affiliated with a Ravenite network that left the Taylor (now PBCC) exclusives in the early 1970's, known by some as Rentonites. The assembly is a growing work, with young families adding. Other early influences in this meeting have included Kevin M. Pearson (from non-denom background) and Pascal Z. Zaklama (from Switzerland brethren). no longer with the fellowship.

Around 1992, there was additionally a separate split from DMR that created Denton Christian Fellowship (TW-P), which was unconnected to either the Renton meeting or the TW room, and met for a few years.
