Rose Island (North Hastings, Ont.: "In December, Christians gathering simply in the Lord's name in Rose Island, in the backwoods about 20 miles from Bancroft, opened their new hall. About 100 believers were present. The Word was with power, and God's beloved people were strengthened and refreshed. Mr. Roughley (ex-Baptist minister), Messrs. May, Gilchrist, and Rolph helped in the ministry of the workers in lonely parts of Canada and the States."
