Cerqueira family

From their ACM profile: Carlos was used of the Lord to plant the first New Testament assembly in Luanda, Angola (c. 1967). Missionaries representing several assemblies commended Carlos and Margarida to the service of the Lord in Angola. Carlos and Margarida worked in the assembly of Luanda full-time until 1975 when they left with their 3 sons. In 1976, in the United States, with T. Ernest Wilson's recommendation, the Lord used Carlos to plant a new assembly in Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the Portuguese-speaking.

Carlos and Margarida were commended by assemblies in Warwick (RI), Groton (CT), Attleboro (MA), Swansea (MA), and the old Pawtucket Gospel Hall. Since then, Carlos has served full-time among Portuguese-speaking assemblies in the Northeast. Carlos started and maintained a radio and television evangelistic ministry for many years. Desiring to be more efficient in testimony and ministry, Carlos acquired a number of degrees, including a theological doctorate. He is most gifted in teaching of the Word.
