Akron Gospel Hall is an open brethren assembly in Akron, Summit Co., Ohio that dates back to prior to 1898.

John Soper was led to Christ by coworker Dan Becker and associated with this assembly from 1898-1946, as per his tribute in Assembly Annals. John Smith also gave gospel ministry in 1898 that resulted in the salvation of Rebecca Becker, mother of Dan, Mike, Harry and Frank). The meeting was excluded in the first (open brethren) AAB for North America from 1922.

1926 USCoRB indicated that there were 60 in fellowship (30 men, 30 women) including 5 S.S. teachers presiding over 45 children (for a total of 105). The Hall was valued at $6,000 with no debt (and with $644 in annual expenses), and $1,395 was additionally spent towards the Lord's work in 1926.

By 1927, there was an assembly meeting at 397 Locust St., with a correspondent of W.W. Becker (383 Kathryn Pl., Cuyahoga Falls). It continued in that location until 1956 when it relocated to 1225 Wooster Ave.

In 1963, John F. Reber started Fairlawn Bible Chapel which met 1963-1969 at 3780 W. Market St., 1970-1976 at Herberick Primary School, and 1981-1994 at AGH's current location.

From 1989-1994 AGH met in the Summit Co. Medical Assn. Building on Wheeler & Grant Sts. Then in 1994, it either accepted a merger from Fairlawn Bible Chapel, or acquired their building when they folded, and relocated to 2705 Smith Rd. where it currently meets, and may sometimes be known as Fairlawn Gospel Hall. Joseph Bercaw was a longtime early correspondent +1936-1966, and then Thomas Wright from 1967-1991, and Kenneth Webb from 1992 on.
