Wortham Meeting Room is an Exclusive Brethren meeting with roots back to at least 1878, with a correspondent of Seth Fuller. There were no correspondents listed between 1879-1900, but by 1901 Nelson Calame was serving in leadership, thru at least 1951. In 1909, the Wortham Meeting Room was part of the [[Tunbridge Wells Brethren|Tunbridge Wells]] split from the [[Plymouth Brethren Christian Church|PBCC]], with just Nelson serving leadership. Their church building is presently being utilized by another evangelical group, but the McHargue family continues as representative, having served since 1949.
