In 1840, Maro was living in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Hopkins (b. 1840 VT) in 1860 in Magnolia, IA;  Julia was living by 1880 with their family in Chapman, Saunders, NE.*** 2nd wife: Susan Myra Grow (b. 1860 Logan, IA) in 1885 in Logan, IA;  Susan was a schoolteacher in Logan in 1880, and the daughter of Allen Kinney Grow (b. 1827 NY - d. 1909 Spokane, WA) & Eliza Jane Barkins Grow (b. 1833 Caneadea, NY - d. 1897 Hamilton, MT).  Allen was a farmer in 1850, proprietor of flanning mill in Harrison, IA in 1870, Logan County Recorder in 1880.  Allen's obit indicated his funeral was officiated by Rev. Grier of the First Universalist church, and he had lived many years in Bitter Root valley, Montana (near Stevensville), and "was a pioneer of several states, a man of high character and an exponent of the highest ideals of good citizenship."
