In the closing months of 1995, a growing difference of opinion resulted in a split and the birth of ''Le Centre Chrétien évangélique de La Tuque''. Ten years down the line, some forty persons were gathering at ''Le Centre''. In the meantime, the original work continued, ultimately passing into the hands of the Pentecostals.
