** T&T 1996-4: "Our beloved sister was remarkably saved on July 10, 1992, after the discovery of a brain tumor. Mercifully awakened, she trusted Christ before the surgery. Doctors held little hope of her survival, but she lived nearly four years to prove the reality of her faith, witnessing to visitors and medical attendants. She was received into the assembly although very weak physically. Please pray for the gospel spoken at her funeral to friends and loved ones for whose salvation she so greatly longed."

** T&T 1974-2: "Our dear sister Mrs. Maggie Wilson Lockett passed away on Dec. 18th, age 93. She was saved over sixty years ago in the early days of gospel work in Matoaca and for the past few years a patient sufferer from a crippling disease in which she lost both her legs. She was a shining light until the end. The well attended funeral was taken by a brother of the local assembly. She leaves four daughters, a son and a brother to mourn her loss."
